Crave American Kitchen Sushi (lasalle Plaza Minneapolis)

When we arrived the restaurant was closed and everybody make a line. People was cutting the line and the male host was accepting them. I complied and he said it was his decition. He was very rude

Food was good, but was presented a bill for $124. I calculated tip for that amount. Waitress brought card reader, husband took care of iit. He said the bill was over $140 before adding tip. A gratuity must have been added after original bill was presented to us. Was never told that they added that, and he didn’t realize it, because I was the one who checked bill and told him how much to tip. So, basically they got a 45% tip. Very shady practice. Was happy until the ending….

I don’t like sushi, but it was great here! Their cocktails and chocolate cake were top notch. Great place to go before a show

Waiter was very inattentive and more preoccupied with chatting with the other waitress staff. Appeared to be just our waiter and other tables were checked on regularly by their wait staff. Management did comp our desserts for all the significant delays, which included the drink service and dessert. Again, all other tables around us with different wait staff were serviced very quickly and routinely, so seemed as though our waiter was the outlier.

Tap beer selection for such a large downtown venue was pathetic. Server performed like she had never served a day in her life. Food was mediocre. The only reason to go here is convenience when going to a show.
