Most of us were not familiar with Bridgewood's catering services, so we decided to look at their menu while we ate. It appeared that we received the executive box lunch without the vegetables and dip. The sandwiches were very fresh and the boxed lunches were generous, including chips, fruit, a cookie, mints, and a moist towelette. However, there were some issues with the meal. Some people who ordered the chicken salad sandwich were surprised to find that it was mustard-based instead of mayo-based. Those who ordered ham or turkey sandwiches were also surprised to find that they did not come with cheese, despite the menu listing cheese in all items. Additionally, some cookies appeared burned and others appeared to have chocolate residue from being wrapped in plastic before cooling. Overall, the catering did the job of feeding us, but it seems that Bridgewood could improve on attention to details and freshness in their menu items if they want to compete with other catering options in the area.
I am amazed by the excellent latte I had at this restaurant in Minnesota. It was delicious and made me incredibly happy. Although I wish they had more savory food options, the coffee and atmosphere alone are worth a visit.
The drinks and pastries at this restaurant are amazing, and I appreciate that they are all sustainably sourced. I especially love their seasonal iced coffee, the Cherry Styles. However, I have visited a few times since moving to the city and each time the staff were quite snobbish. I may not fit the typical "hipster" customer profile, but I am still a customer and it would be nice to be greeted and thanked. Despite the staff, I would have given this restaurant a 5-star rating for sure!
Great coffee place, and a cool industrial country vibe. I love that alt milk is no charge. The mocha was very good, although I wish the caramel syrup was vegan. Iced coffee is also great. The menu is simple and no fuss, with a few creative extras.
They have a seasonal drink right now called Cherry Styles and it’s wonderful. I’ve had it both iced and hot. Otherwise I usually order the Carmella from their regular menu. Overall Spyhouse has a nice, hip vibe. The indoor dining area is quite large, which makes it a great cafe to work from. There are also some outdoor tables and parking is fair (street parking and a big free lot nearby).
