Birchwood Cafe - Minneapolis

The veggie quiche and savory waffle were wonderful—fresh and delightful. The service was satisfactory, though the staff seemed quite inexperienced. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Whenever I visit Minneapolis, the savory waffle from Birchwood is a must-have for me. I appreciate how the flavors evolve with the seasons, yet it remains consistently delicious. Even if I plan on trying something new, I inevitably order the savory waffle and never regret it. The coffee is fantastic too. I really love the atmosphere of this place!

Absolutely delightful! The food is fresh and fantastic! Be prepared for long lines around 10-11 AM on weekends, but they tend to ease up around noon. The nice touch is that they serve you coffee while you wait in line, which is a nice perk. The avocado toast and waffles were both outstanding! Even the decaf coffee was impressive, which is a rarity. The establishment has a well-organized system, but expect to wait a bit for the delicious food. Once you place your order, it doesn't take long for your meal to arrive.

I attempted to call the restaurant to check their hours, but I was abruptly disconnected. There are no hours posted on Google or Instagram, and their website is currently unavailable. It's disappointing since this used to be one of my favorite brunch places.

I couldn't even get in touch with them! When I called, someone picked up, took a deep breath into the phone, and then hung up. One star.
