Afandina Cafe - Minneapolis

Place has a nice feel to it. And since its a Mediterranean-style place, its decorated that way. I bought the Gyro combo and it was good. Its not great because the meat was a little too salty for my taste. But GOODNESS GRACIOUS the fries are BOMB.Fries came to me piping hot, SUPER crispy, and was seasoned so perfectly It looks as if its breaded with something as well.So overall, the gyro was meh ... it was ok. But the fries couldnt be more perfect ?Id come back to try something else, and to get those fries again ?

Visiting from Nebraska and I’d definitely recommend this restaurant. Food was wonderful flavorful ! 10/10. Knafa was my overall favorite dish, give it a try.

The place is very clean and good halal food.. I didn't like smelling the shisha from upstairs during my last visit as Im a non- smoker. The 8 piece chicken wings with fries were great! My favorite meal now. The fries were perfectly cooked and crunchy. The chicken was cooked perfectly. They were very juicy , tender and crispy and nicely sized. I love that you offer Gingerale soda. I like the portion sizes. My family was very happy with their hamburgers and fries, too. Great service!

Afandina Cafe has some of the best Middle Eastern food I've had in the Twin Cities. The quality and portions are great and the staff is very friendly. Will definitely be back again soon!
