Contribuiți la feedbackI'm Italian, and I love Italian food... especially when it's authentic family recipes, cooked and served by real Italians! Beneventi's is simply amazing because they are operating out of their original family store from 1906, that's 116 years andcounting Pork belly burnt ends and gnocchi tots were the most delectable appetizers I have ever teased my taste buds (nokidding). Osso Buco pork shank was the most tender piece of meat to have melted in my mouth (sorry TX BBQ). The portions werehuge, and we all took leftovers. I thought they undercharged us, as the prices are very reasonable. It's a trip back in time, like stepping into an Italian museum, with real pictures and memorabilia from Italy. ???????? My whole family LOVES this place, and we will be back! You need to go too!
We all shared lasagne, spaghetti, and a meatball sub. Everything was SUPER!! I love this place and want it to be a success!! We have gone too long without good Italian in this area ????
2nd visit was just as pleasant as the 1st. Service, Food and Atmosphere all outstanding. Thank you for bringing outstanding cuisine to my neck of the woods. I will be back often.
A must stop that checks every box: 1) Historic building renovated with love inside and out, mix of small and communal tables that made for a warm impression as soon as the door swung open. Decor traces the roots of the Italian family behind the propertyto their arrival at Ellis Island and history of the grocery that inhabited the building. 2) Incredible staff, full of smiles andradiating a rightful pride of place. 3) Community involvement permeating the experience. 4) Affordable daily specials 5)FANTASTIC food. 6) Anything else you'd want in a charming rural restaurant, Beneventi's has it.
I first heard of this beautiful place because of Texas bucket list...the story and purpose is heartwarming. That was a plus! Then i saw it was close to where we live! So I decided we were going to give it a try. Well today was the day! We both were sohungry and coming back home so i got to thinking let me see if they are open and to my happiness they were! hoping Googlewasn't wrong we took the exit and once we arrived we saw the open sign. What topped it off is that we were greeted by the ownerand the staff. All super friendly and sweet. The menu was perfect enough options to choose from without feeling overwhelmed . Wesettled for the spaghetti and meatballs and lasagna, had the house salad . The portions were just right. When we took that firstbite oh men . So yummy!!! All my mom could say wow. That's good !!! Over and over . The experience was wonderful and the foodamazing, the cause makes it even more special. We will come back again . It just goes to show that u find hidden gems in smalltowns. If you get a chance to speak to the owner You will leave motivated but also reaffirmed that there are still good peopleout in the world working hard to do good within the community.
