Abbey's Bakehouse Minett

A cute little bakehouse in the middle of cottage country. It’s in the most unlikely place in Minet. Unfortunately, the bakehouse is not open for that long throughout the Summer. Nonetheless, the baked goods are absolutely delicious! Words can’t describe their cookies. A creative variety including brownies, caramel and sea salt, M&Ms, rice crispy, etc. The bakehouse is most famous for their butter tarts. Just discovered that an Abbey’s Bakehouse was opened at Square One in Mississauga. We will definitely visit that location!

Awesome little hidden gem, I had a nitro cold brew vanilla coffee and a butter tart, my girlfriend had the gelato. What a hidden gem. It was great to grab a drink and walk through the little pop ups they had. Great spot to stop for a break on a roadtrip.

Abbey's Bakehouse has delicious treats and coffee. The staff are friendly. The butter tarts are AMAZING. They should add one more sandwich board type sign at the entrance to the marina rentals to make it a little easier to find.

Today I arrived at abbeys just after closing on a Sunday with my family. A lovely young girl (Rebecca? was tidying up the chairs outside and I inquired about purchasing some goodies to bring to a friends for dinner tonight. She said they were already closed as was the till but went to check inside. She came out with a box of treats for us free of charge! What a lovely surprise! Thank you so much. Will be back for sure!
