I was in several Michelin-star restaurants in japan, and les alchimestes is the same of everyone I had. excellent molecular-influenced Japanese-French fusion. my friend and I find in the rule at least one or two courses in a tasting menu to second guests: not this time. everything was on the square. small, minimal, hip.

My friend and I typically expect one or two standout courses in a tasting menu, but this time every dish was exceptional. The ambiance is small, minimal, and hip.

We recently enjoyed our third Sunday lunch at L'Alchimiste. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The small yet sophisticated courses were excellent, leaving us feeling satisfied and energized for the rest of the day. The chef clearly puts a lot of thought and effort into each dish, providing us with plenty of conversation topics. We also had the opportunity to try a white savagnin from the Jura region, a rare find that added to the unique dining experience.

This cozy restaurant, which earned its Michelin star, is run by a classically trained chef in the kitchen and his partner manages the front of the house. We enjoyed a tasting menu focused on seafood, with a duck main course and delicious desserts. The cuisine skillfully combines Western techniques with Japanese influences and uses high-quality seasonal ingredients.

Our third sunday lunch at L'Alchimiste. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Excellent, small yet sophisticated courses that leave you satisfied and fit for the rest of the day. The chef keeps on putting a lot of thoughts and diligence into every single dish thus giving you enough food to talk about. We drank a white savagnin from the jura-region which you hardly find elsewhere.
