The Capital Grille Milwaukee

Had lunch here with a friend during Milwaukees Downtown Dining participating restaurants off specialty priced menu for either lunch and/or dinner. We’ve been to CG before but it has been a while. We had reservations and were greeted quickly and very friendly. Our waiter Austin was incredibly friendly very and knowledgeable of the menu. Service was outstanding! My friend and I did order off the Downtown Dining menu. The tenderloin sandwich’s were done to perfection and the grilled salmon was tender and flavorful. But the crème brûlée was the star very cream and rich with the burnt top just the right amount of sweetness. Overall it was an excellent experience and highly recommend.

I was skeptical with this having so many locations across the states. Pleasantly surprised with one of the best steaks in a long time. Dinner can be expensive with steaks priced alone with pricey add ons. The lunch menu is much more reasonable and typically comes with potatoes etc. I will definitely go back!!

Waitress was not polite, we were harried with given time to eat our meal and leave. Fries were burnt, only white establishment, no minority employees, tips were not based on the kind of service we received, vehicles were misplaced.

We stopped in for a nice drink to end the evening and were not disappointed! The bartender was kind and knowledgable about all the drink options! The atmosphere was perfect for a drink and to spend time with friends!

First time in MKE , first time going to the Capital Grille ... but , if I ever be back to MKE , will not be the last visit. Awesomeness has a new name Capital Grille. Location on Wisconsin Ave. close by to the Convention center, so it 's easy to find it, with a very good seating capacity , indoors only from what I 've seen and if you arrive by car you shall find a parking lot to leave your car , only a few places on the street outside the restaurant. Service to be thought is school discrete , but always there , the waitress did an excellent job everything went so natural. Food some great options on the menu in terms of stakes, however I was still full from breakfast, so I went for for a shrimp starter and following that a lobster salad. Just perfectly spiced , rightly balanced , with a citrusy finish , excellent dish even if it is light is definitely a dish to remember. Drinks options were also plenty however we still had to work after lunch so water was the beverage of choice, this time. Prices higher than the usual, average eateries, but it was worth it a very good price to quality ratio. To sum it up this was the best meal I had during the 8 days I stayed in MKE if you are in the area I recommend you try this restaurant.
