Pizza House - Milwaukee

I ordered a gyro but they gave me a philly cheese instrad. The cheese pizza wasgood though.

The sauce was barely present. It was inoffensive, but I could only say that because it was so subtly applied. I want to taste my sauce—I enjoy sauce! The crust was... adequate. Not good, just okay. It was bland and uninteresting, like it was hesitant to stand out among the other ingredients. As for the toppings? They were fresh—bright green peppers and decent pepperoni (though that feels like a tongue twister). But unfortunately, that’s not enough to redeem the pizza. It looked like pizza and gave off pizza vibes, but can I confidently call it a pizza? I’m not sure... do you really want to take the chance to find out? The boneless wings were inedible. The chicken was more than just dry; it felt as if it had spent time in a dehydrator before frying and then baking under the sweltering sun of the Gobi Desert. The sauce was decent, but I barely got to enjoy it since chewing through the wings took me just as long as it took to type this review (enjoy the free rhyme). On a positive note, the fries were good. It was just average. The bread and sauce were quite tasty, but it didn't have the cheesy, gooey goodness I was hoping for, unlike what I saw in the picture. It served its purpose for a late Saturday night.

The 16-inch pizza is similar to a regular large, more or less. It tastes excellent! The crust is great, although the cheese could have been cooked a bit longer to achieve a golden color, but it didn't bother me. It almost has a Chicago-style pizza vibe to it.
