Oak Barrel Public House - Milwaukee

That was in order. we ordered the Brussel-Spieß-appet and during the taste was good, the spits were hard and not very crispy. our escapes were good (the chicken caeser wrap, the bark and the cheese and the spicy chicken sandwich,) the sides were not good. the boiler chips, cole Slav and pommes were all very bland and the pommes were muddy. I think they should work to improve their sides!

My only complaining was to see the lack of paper menus. only so you could see that it used phones that were uncomfortable. others then that it was a nice experience.

Good bar food in the heart of milwaukee in a very casual environment. the speck fat popcorn is delicious, but also sets the ton for the rest of her meal. looks like a good kater.

We visited early for lunch on a not very busy day, so it was a nice quiet lunch with friends and family. it was our first time here and we loved the decoration and the feeling of the place. as I had read on other reviews, they have a quite extensive menu with some pretty tempting items, but I would say that eating was ok nothing really stood out too much, quite typical pub food, it was not bad at all, but not what I had expected. our service was absolutely wonderful! they give them a try when they are in the opposite, I think next time I visit I want to sit and enjoy some drinks at the bar and just some apps instead of sitting lunch / dinner.

Really a cool place to hang out and enjoy some food and drinks. We had a large party and were able to be seated right away. Large variety of specialty drinks and decent menu options.
