Daddy's Soul Food Grille - Milwaukee

I've dined here at least five times since the start of last year, and let me tell you, it feels like someone's grandma is in the kitchen!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I was really impressed! The food was fantastic, especially the mac and cheese; it was so delicious that I usually don't enjoy restaurant mac and cheese. I will definitely be going back! Plus, they offer free meals for seniors every Thursday, which is a great bonus.

Catfish had too much corn meal, and fish taste like it wasn’t even seasoned. Greens were alright.. better than 1700 pull up which I tried the day before. Mac Cheese was giving a yt person made it or in better words my co worker described it as too creamy, fried chicken was cool though.. yamss was not yamming either. For this to be a soul food place I feel everything lacked some seasoning.. content I am from Jersey live in Florida not from the midwest

The food at this restaurant was outstanding. It's set up cafeteria-style, where you place your order, and then they serve your meal right in front of you. After paying, you can take a seat and enjoy your food. The meals are served in styrofoam containers, which I don't mind personally, but I do have concerns about the environmental impact. The pricing was incredibly reasonable for the quality of the meal. The chicken was juicy and packed with flavor, with a nice crispy exterior. The greens and macaroni and cheese were also excellent. I tried the black-eyed peas, which were good, although I’m not typically a fan of them. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will likely return.
