Cafe India - Milwaukee

Very cheap, eating taste is just over okay, it is not clean place and not well maintained. self-service and food quality is also ok. good for budget friendly and a few items.

AMAZING!!. I have always WANTED to love Indian food. I have tried it several times, in several states, and it's always been... okay. Cafe India is exactly what I've always thought that Indian food should taste like. If veggies had tasted like that when I was a kid, I never would have an argument with my Mom. The service was friendly, the cafe clean, and the food was awesome!! I'm thinking about getting back in the car and going to get more so that I can have it for breakfast. Thanks for a great experience!

Surprisingly Great Indian, Affordable. I say surprisingly because, let's face it, I don't generally have high hopes for a restaurant that is situated in a small strip mall at the Mobil gas station We'd been curious about trying Cafe India and finally went last weekend. Got the Chicken Tikka Masala and Palak Paneer with Roti and Rice Pilaf, and was totally won over. They don't have as many options as Majaraja or Royal India and the meals don't come with' rice you have to order a large serving for a few extra bucks. Fantastic Samosas. I very briefly stopped in for some quick food on the run. I was very pleased with their traditional samosas. Great seasoning and level of spice with minimal greasiness.

Food is okay, nothing to brag about. I've had better Indian food. Everything seems to be fresh during lunch but after that they seem to microwave everything. It's really hot on the outside and luke warm everywhere else. If I wanted microwaveable food, I'd have them serve it cold and nuke it at home, rather than sit there and wait for mins.
