Went for a pre Christmas meal with friends. Food was very mediocre, our meals arrived at different times. Not a patch on The Brewers Fayre just down the road. Wont return Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

We were welcomed to the restaurant by name, which was a nice touch. The service was very good, efficient and polite. Throughout, it felt like there was nothing that was too much. The only criticism I can make is that we actually got our starter before we got our drinks! Wheelchair accessibility: There is disabled parking immediately outside the restaurant and access is level throughout. Price per person: £50–60

We 've been living in the area for years and had never gone to this pub. Well... didn 't miss much to be honest. My wife and I decided to give it a whirl for lunch. I ordered the Crispy Prawns as a Starter and a Bacon Cheese Burger as main. My wife went with a bowl of tomato soup as starter and regular BBQ wings as main. The prawns came out... Description says King Prawns ...I paid £5.99 for ... THREE small prawns. Yes THREE... I had to chuckle when the waitress brought the plate. I looked at her with the humblest face I could muster and asked ... Seriously? I won 't write her response but I liked it. The manager was pretty apathetic about this when I asked to speak with him. The rest of the food? Who cares! I paid £5.99 for three little prawns with some green vegetation and a pink sauce. It ruined the whole meal. They even came in a small plate try and make them look bigger, lol. You live and learn.
