Pumpkin Cafe - Milton Keynes

The restaurant meets basic needs, but offers a limited selection of sandwiches. The coffee is okay, but there is no competition from other eateries.

The manager/franchise owner of Pumpkin Cafe, a short blonde woman, is incredibly unpleasant. She speaks to staff and customers in a demeaning manner. Despite giving the cafe multiple chances this year, the behavior has been consistently terrible. It's no surprise that the cafe is mostly empty. Save yourself the abuse and go to Costa around the corner.

We arrived at the train station at 9:15 am with some time to spare before our train. Despite the window displaying opening hours of 6:30 am, the restaurant was closed and locked. We ended up going to the kiosk next door instead.

Although they are only warmed through the bacon rolls are very nice and have plenty of bacon in them. Good value for £1.50.

Is ok don't expect to much. Good for a quick break but unfortunately overpriced. Other good places are close so plenty of choices around.
