Lazeez Shawarma & Mediterranean Grill

The original Lazeez location in Mississauga is great, but the quality at the Milton location has noticeably declined. When I went for lunch, they didn't even have fresh meat being cooked on the spinning grill - instead, they reheated yesterday's chicken. It doesn't seem like this location will be able to stay open for much longer.

I wanted to like this restaurant. I wanted a falafel pita that was a bit of garlic sauce, a lot of hot sauce and delicious falafel. Unfortunately, I ordered dine in. Within in sitting down, i started to notice how dirty the restaurant was. My table was dirty and smeared with sticky bits. The restaurant wasn't busy, so there is no excuse for this. There was garbage on the tables. There were flies buzzing around. The windows were FILTHY dirty. I lost my appetite and threw out the majority of my wrap as I was so grossed out by the atmosphere. If front of house looks like this, what does the back of house look like?

During our stay in Toronto, we ordered takeout from this restaurant. The portion sizes were generous and the food tasted excellent. Unfortunately, I cannot speak to the cleanliness or customer service as we didn't eat at the restaurant. Overall, we will definitely be returning in the future.

Our meal was extremely flavorful and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant as a great fast food option. I am already planning on returning this week!

Decided to try Lazeez in Milton for a chicken shawarma and fattouch salad. I could believe how dirty the actual location is. Sunny day and couldn’t even see out the glass. Fattouch salad did not have the pita croutons and I pulled a black curly hair out of my shawarma!!! NEVER going back there again.
