Me and my girlfriend ordered online and picked it up. I got the Titas Burrito- which had lumpia in it, she had the Little Kamayan box. When we opened the box I was happy to see the large portions they gave and the presentation of the food. We also ordered a last minute fried Bangus Fish bowl for my Mom, we didn 't have to wait long for the dish to be ready. The Mexican-Filipino fusion cuisine was good, I definitely recommend it. I 've only been to one other type in SF but I think this place is better.
I feel ripped off from this place. Ordered the DIY Kamayan Box and when I got the food, it's only enough for two people. Better off order 2 to 4 separate plates and getting about the same amount of food for a lot less than $65 bucks after taxes. I will not recommend the this place.
My eyes lit up when I read Mexican/Filipino fusion. Overall super delicious place and I think Tita's Cantina is gonna give Señor Sisig a run for their money! The food smelled dank during the car ride home and couldn't wait to dive in. 1) Tita's Burrito tocino longanisa) This was good! The meats were nice and sweet and just wish there was a tad bit more. 2) Tia's Fries grilled pork belly) This is my type of comfort food! Visually appetizing and very delicious! The lumpias are stuffed with a good amount of filling with flavor you can taste which is something I tend to be picky about). I loved the pickled onions on the side because the acid helps balance out all the creamy and savory toppings. 3) Tita's Quesadilla chicken adobo) I think this item executed the Mexican/Filipino fusion the best. Good amount of chicken meat and juice, and the flavor definitely reminded me of adobo. If I were to conclude my evaluation of the food, I highly recommend the chicken adobo as a choice of protein and highly recommend Tia's Fries as the must dish you must try. The only minor issue I had was with the add ons for my order: I requested garlic vinegar on the side for the burrito and fries and requested spicy mayo for the quesadilla, but I ended up not receiving any of those condiments : my only reason for docking a star
Tita cantina replaces Hapa Musubi, while not the same still equally amazing! The Filipino Mexican concept brings delicious unique options. From lumpias in your burritos to your fries, you can't really go wrong. Ordered ahead online on their website. Food was ready within 15 minutes! Tried the Manila burrito with adobo chicken and tita's fries with pork belly. Their burrito reminds me of a breakfast burrito because of the tater tots and eggs it would've been nice if I could add cheese to this though. The adobo chicken was flavorful and lumpias were a nice addition although it got soggy really fast in the burrito. The spicy mayo provided a small hint of heat but was more on the sweeter side. Their fries are loaded with toppings and fries. The box was packed with fries, cheese, pork belly, lumpia, jalapeños, onions, and sauce. This was definitely my favorite of the 2 thing I ordered. Will have to come back and try their other meats like the longanisa and tocino!
Tita's Cantina was great while it was opened in the past. By the time I got to posting my review of this place, it looked like Tita's Cantina closed down. We came here on 1/29/21 to pick up our order of chicken adobo and grilled pork belly burritos. It was not your typical burrito because of the size as well as the food inside. The grilled pork belly burrito was delicious and the lumpia in the middle was nice. The chicken adobo was also delicious and definitely could have ordered more than one as we were still a little hungry. Great food here!
