Kokoro Ramen - Milpitas

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! I was specifically searching for a vegetable-based ramen shop with a broth that wasn't too fishy, and that's exactly what I got! I'm very satisfied and will definitely be returning.

The ramen here is delicious. I had the tonkatsu ramen with regular noodles and it was amazing. Just a heads up, this place is on the smaller side so you may need to wait for a seat. Luckily, we were right at the front of the line so we were seated right away.

The restaurant is very busy during lunchtime. The waitress worked really hard to serve us. They offer a choice of thin or thick noodles, and you can also choose between the original soup or adding a spicy broth for an additional cost, which is really good. I opted for the thin noodles as usual. The egg was excellent and tasted just like I wanted. Currently, they offer both outdoor and indoor dining options (as of March 2022).

I tried the veggie shoyu wheels here. loaded with noodles, pears and mushrooms. the broth was clear. I would have loved it if it were a bit more spicy, missed the gyozas here, as they are filled with meat.

Super strong garlic scent, and it actually has two-three pieces of black garlic, the texture is soft and delicious! But the broth is a bit too light for me. Other than that it’s above average!
