Berdeaux Pizza - Millstadt

I've been here twice... once to try their pizza 2 years ago when visiting Millstadt and now 2 years later to try their weekday lunch buffet on a day the kids were out of school. The only reason I knew they had a weekday lunch buffet was from visiting 2 years ago... it's not really advertised anywhere and I'm not even sure of the pricing.... it was around $30 for 2 adults and 2 children under 8 years old which included drinks so I'm guessing $10 for adults and $5 for kids. They were very busy and had trouble keeping up with clean pates for the buffet but you could tell the workers were working as fast as they could to keep up. I assume the buffet is from 11-1 on weekdays. The salad bar/toppings are very good (eggs, olives, bacon bits, croutons, 2 kinds of cheese), they have stuff for basic kids nachos with beef and cheese sauce but there were only tortilla chip crumbs left the entire time we were there. The pizza was good and they had a decent variety (pineapple/ham, mushroom/sausage, pepperoni) plus cheese sticks and brownies. They also have a small toddler play area which is nice. Although I know I am living in a Village, not a big City, I was surprised. Pizza was delicious, but, Summer Time, no AC. Salads, but, Salad Bar only available on Monday and Tuesday evening or 11:00 2:00 Wednesday Friday. I would go back, cause the Pizza was delicious and they have a game room with slot machines. The owner was present. He was very pleasant to chat. The food was good. I made lunch. Salad was fresh, pizza medium crust was good, toppings was exactly what I wanted. Service was fast to replace empty trays. I'd go back there.
