The flavors were delicious and truly authentic. I would definitely recommend this place—10/10!

I had no idea this place was there! Now I plan to stop by every time I'm in the area. It's tucked away at the back of a large building along State Street. As others have mentioned in their reviews, this is a great spot for Mexican food!

The owner is wonderful, and this restaurant is a great choice for Mexican food in the area! I find myself dining here at least once a week.

Completely fulfills my nacho desire, super generous toppings. Especially large rice asses that came on the side of our order. I ate vegetarian tonight and was super satisfied even though the meat options smell awesome when we in. Big little business and great food. I'm glad we're over to try Avocado Cafe! Note, the online order said it didn't work, so we gave a call to submit the order and picked it up immediately. Pick up just given Kovid, but there were a few picnic tables out there.

My partner hails from southern California and after being out here for 4 years we finally found Mexican food that is authentic. The spicy food is actually spicy and delicious, the atmosphere is very down to earth and the prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get. Say goodbye to bland Mexican restaurants that compensate for their gross food with too many decorations and go to the Avocado Cafe. Staff is wonderful, polite, and easy to talk to. Couldn 't be happier that we stumbled across this gem.
