Hellas Restaurant and Lounge

The restaurant has friendly staff. Very spacious. The food we ordered was delicious. We had the appetizer of garlic mussels that were wonderful. There wasn't a nasty fishy taste to it. I have run into thats issue at other restaurants, but theirs tasted fresh and had a wonderful garlic flavor. I ordered the gyro platter and my husband ordered crab cakes. The serving sizes are large. I feel like I could have shared my meal with my husband and it would have been enough. Especially, because the meals came with 2 sides. I chose a Greek salad and potatoes salad. Both were perfect in flavor! I would love to go again and plan on returning with friends.

Everytime I'm in town and near Hella's, we stop in to have dinner. The best crab cakes ever along with other seafood the seafood platter, fish or shrimp. I haven't tried the Greek specialties, but I'm sure they would be good also.

The food was awesomesauceness, drinks were great our waitress Mira was top notch even though it was very busy...another great night with friends at Hella's....

Best crab cakes in Maryland. Always a lot of lump meat, huge sandwich for your money. I've been getting them here for 20 years and will continue. I'm always disappointed when I try crab cakes elsewhere, they don't compare.

I had a lovely evening. Great service Great happy hour! We ordered several items including Raw Oysters (fresh, ice cold,delicious) ,crab cake sliders (2 with fries also delicious) corn fritters (good but no can mess those up),greek salad (I know it looked good but I didn't try that), and tiramisu. Tiramisu is my absolute favorite dessert so I was so excited to see it in the dessert case (so many amazing cakes, 3 or 4 kinds of cheesecake, as well as pie/cobbler) Anyways the tiramisu was just ok. So I was a bit let down. It was good just not as good as I had hoped following all the other tasty food we had eaten. Oh well, I suppose on my next Maryland trip I'll have to order some of that chocolate fudge cake or cookies n cream cheesecake. Darn!
