Contribuiți la feedbackThe rejuvenated hotel has shiny interiors, with beautiful pastel shades, plush lounge, gorgeous white marble surfaces, speak extravagance, but elegance, paired with a welcoming series of employees who are attentive and friendly. the hotel's signature restaurant bistro remy has recently refurbished and offers a delicious Christmas dinner to take the stress from christmas.
I had great culinary experiences in bistro remy. from fresh oysters to meat products (steak, pork lamb). it is hard to choose what my favorite is. they look forward to eating.

Sydney's best hotels reinvent their restaurants and make them accessible to local residents and neighboring office workers in terms of high-quality dishes with qualitatiw high-quality Australian products, but without the luxury prices. Last Wednesday I was invited to lunch to open the new bistro remy of the langham sydney, one of the best and greatest harbour hotels of sydney in the heart of the rocks district in sydney and I am blessed to have a heroic appetit.
After having dinner over the road we decided to have drinks at the beautiful Langham hotel previously the Observatory Hotel.Walking in i was not greeted so i went forward and reserved a table for us at the Globe Bar. Within seconds i was approached by the rudest waiter on earth - it was surreal - demanding to know whether i was from the "the house" of not . To which i replied what difference would that have made. Did i look like a fugitive or someone who was about to bolt ( with my limp) without paying my bill?When all my guests arrived the same waiter took me to task as he didnt appreciate me looking at him with disdane and started to say "have you got a problem with me asking you a question and why" - the way in which he said it shocked my guests not to mention myself. THe way in which he spoke to me not to mention treated us a bunch of second class citizens. I almost cried at being humiliated by this personThe rest of the night after ordering our drinks and cheese he did not approach us. We all wanted a glass of water but none of us were game to ask him as my guests very quite intimidated by him. So i got up and asked the very pleasant barman - who was so sweet and obliging.Now Langham Management - is this what you call service , is this what you expect of your staff , rudeness to the limit , an unhappy and unfilled experience which spoilt a great night out - not to mention the quality of the food which was not spectacular and expensive to boot( but hey if service is good who cares its a nice night out with friends) Serious customer service re training could and should be on the agenda - and culling your staff at the recruitment stage - this is a service industry and if you dont like people don't apply in conclusion the GM - did ring me in person and apologised for my negative experience - so i have to say that was a good move and thanks. Not withstanding that i will never be returning to the Sydney Langham ( Melbourne is great though and i stay there often ). Such a shame because it is such a pretty Hotel and i was looking at staying there for a weekend break - but i have had such good service elsewhere at most of the 5 stars in the CBD so i shall not be returning nor will any of my stunned party and why would you . If that waiter worked for me he would not have a second chance!!!! inexcusable Dont bother going if you expect a wonderful experience with lovely polite staff at the Globe Bar - pay to go elsewhere where the staff shine and dont abuse the patrons !!!!!
