Bistro On The Beach Millendreath

The dining experience here is exceptional, set in a one-of-a-kind location. There's nothing quite like enjoying dinner on the terrace while soaking in a beautiful sunset. It can get quite busy on Fridays and Saturdays, so it’s a good idea to reserve a table in advance.

The best fish and chips I’ve had in the last 12 years! You absolutely have to try it; it will be unlike anything you’ve ever tasted. In the photo, you can see the falafel, which is also fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The beach is just steps away, and there’s a large parking area, but be sure to bring some coins, as that was necessary at the time I visited. It’s a lovely and relaxing spot with incredible food, perfect for a beautiful walk afterward. If you’re nearby, you definitely won’t regret stopping by!

I've been to Black Rock twice, and both times the food was fantastic. The breakfast, in particular, was one of the best I've ever had—I didn't even have time to snap a photo before diving in! Some reviews mentioned that the service was slow, but I didn't experience that at all. The staff did inform us that there might be a wait, especially since it was a sunny Saturday during peak time, but when the food is freshly prepared, it's worth the wait. I thought the prices were reasonable for a bistro in such a stunning location with freshly prepared meals. Definitely worth a visit!

They eat twice there, fab meal both times. veg tagliatelle for dinner, and a tomato and chilisuppe for lunch, both were super beautiful! the rest of the family had a lot of directed, apparently both the crab tagliatelle and the fish of the day (plaice iliew) were incredible. apparently, the chips were also perfect! a few vegetarian options, so everyone kept happy, and will probably be back before we go!

A small course sand beach, well maintained. Dog friendly before 9am and after 6pm during the summer months. Accessibility is good with no steps. There's a beach cafe and facilities to hire kayaks and surf boards. Car park is large : pay and display 24 hours.
