A & W Restaurant & Take-Out - Millbrook

I had a speedy lunch today. The food was delicious and the service was quick. The staff were incredibly friendly.

Food was hot took a bit of time they were busy and only two staff working I saw. Clean friendly wait staff.

We went to the drive-thru around 6 pm and found it to be very slow, despite only having 3 cars ahead of us in line. The food was decent, but it lacked the usual A&W quality. The onion rings were undercooked, yet still hot and tasty, but my burger was difficult to eat without making a mess on my lap. We were quite disappointed and hope they can improve, as we may not return. The menu was also confusing, making it difficult to order. We could have stopped on our way home, but instead decided to keep driving. My advice would be to keep driving unless you don't mind a messy burger in your lap.

We stopped in for a burger and fries and even though this is a small A W along with a needs and gas bar the burgers were really good and service quick.

I can't eat gluten and fast food is a tricky thing. At first glance only fries looked gluten free but when I asked about a gluten free bun the server was quick to tell me they could do my burger on a lettuce wrap. Really fresh vegetables, well cooked beef and a good balance of sauce. I was so surprised! My partner had seasoned fries and they were really delicious too. For a quick stop off the highway these guys went above and beyond. I'll be going back again.
