Shanghai Dumpling Shop - Millbrae

Soupy dumplings and siu mai were delicious. General Tso's didn't hold up as well in the to-go box (steamed up and got soggy).

This is my favorite spot in Millbrae for dumplings! Never disappoints!

As someone from Shanghai, I can say this restaurant serves excellent Shanghainese cuisine. I highly recommend the Jicai Fried Rice Cakes (齊菜炒年糕) and the Hot Sour Soup (酸辣湯).

The Shanghai Steamed Pork Dumplings (小籠飽, 8 pieces) and the Vegetable Pork Steamed Dumplings (菜肉蒸餃, 8 pieces) were excellent. However, the Chicken Fried Rice (雞炒飯) was more like steamed rice with small pieces of chicken and egg, which was disappointing. I really love this place, but this dish did not meet my expectations.

The Xiao Long Bao was hot and delicious when it arrived! These dumplings are always a treat.
