Restaurant L'Ecole Buissonniere

The restaurant is on the side of the road with some parking outside and more across the road. Its an old school as the name suggests and very nicely decorated. Super clean too. We were warmly welcomed by a pleased waiter. The plat de jour was certainly above the level we have usually found. We had a little amouse bouche-some lovely warm vegetable soup. The bread was very good almost focaccia. For starter we had a crispy salad with a tasty dressing. The main course was chicken and chips which sounds boring but was done beautifully. I had an omelette with mushrooms and salad. Pudding was creme caramel. Add a pichet of red wine and for under 50Euros we were very satisfied. Toilet was amazingly clean. There is a large area at the back which I guess they use in summer. We would certainly return.

Always easy to get a reservation, service is quick and staff friendly. Their Alsace pizzas are extremely good, and they specialise in Alsace cuisine, great garden in the summer to sit outside, and cosy restaurant inside. Nice selection of wines. All in all my favourite restaurant to go to when tired and in need of some good French country cooking.

When we were in Burgundy I was determined to have Beof Bourginon. I didn't but this restaurant was fabulous anyway. Their cheese board looked wonderful.

Always as excellent! a card that makes you want to taste everything but the plates are so copyy that after the entrance you are already satisfied. A great address.

Beautiful evolution of the terrace and garden layout. reception always as nice.service impeccable ... quality products. generous meal .we once again recommend this restaurant and its gourmet coffee .....
