Everything about the Falls Teahouse is COMFORT. Walking distance to Millaa Millaa Falls. I loved my overnight stay while exploring the Atherton Tablelands. This is the cleanest holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in. A credit to the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and I made plenty. I loved that meals are available and great coffee. They even have a bar. Complimentary goodies on arrival and a deck with a view.
This place was excellent. Of all the places we’ve stayed, from resorts, to hotels, to motels, we have never felt more accommodated. The owners were kind and friendly and the food was brilliant. Definitely going back.
Welcoming hosts, friendly and obliging with room and then to cater for evening meal from menu! Looking forward to breakfast and coffee as the home made meal at every level even the garlic bread Sensational
Where to start...Just look at my pics and they speak for themselves. From the sweet helpful voice (aka Mel) on the phone assisting me with my last minute booking, to the minute I checked out was given one of her yummy home made brownies for my travels, lets just say I didn't want to leave, I was impressed. I am cow country crazy being positioned on top of a hill right next to a dairy, surrounded by lush green fields, I was in heaven. To add to my already happy demeaner, dinner drinks are available to purchase at the Teahouse, so I didn't have to go anywhere to find good food. and as for the food which Darren cooked for me, it was fancy restaurant quality considering I was told his profession is not a chef or cook, this is awesome. And I do not lie when I say the best sautéed mushrooms I've had in my entire life, his own recipe. I slept in a bed literally fit for a queen, my breakfast looked like I was the Queen (see pics), my welcoming gifts are things you just don't see or get in most places anymore. Mel Darren offered to bring my meals to me no matter where on the grounds I wanted to sit. They worked around my time schedule asked me what time I wanted breakfast. My bedroom was pre heated on arrival. The views are beautiful. And don't forget the sunsets. The Teahouse is perfectly located for them. Cows next door cross the road after milking so keep that in mind for young kids for something different. wheel chair friendly front entrance, not sure on door width for rooms. 2 minute drive to Milla Milla falls. 2 minute drive to the local shop and 8 minute drive to Milla Milla Lookout (a must do). would definitely stay here again, and would definitely recommend it. Only 1 down side to this place, thin walls so I heard every burp, fart and conversation the couple did or had in the other room did lol
