Contribuiți la feedbackI love this restaurant, the only thing I don’t like is that when I order a glass of wine, it comes in a measured carafe, which often restaurants do, but other restaurants fill the carafe, and at Prabh, they don’t fill it. The cost per glass is not inexpensive, yet the pour portion is skimpy.
While many choices, one of the better Bay Area go-to spots for Indian cuisine. In downtown Mill Valley, Prabh has become known to the locals for top quality Indian offerings. Spices set to your level of comfort with many vegetarian offerings, they just make great Indian food in southern Marin and have for years now.
Some dishes at this restaurant were excellent while others were not to our liking. The soup, chicken pakoras, and breads (naan and roti) were all delicious. However, the lamb in the boti kebab masala was tough and my wife did not enjoy the sauce in the shrimp korma. The service was great and the ambiance was pleasant. Overall, the value would have been better if the food had been more consistent.
This place has a new chef and has taken a step up in quality. It has gone from solid Indian food to some of the best I’ve had. Definitely better than any Indian restaurant in SF. If you’re feeling bold order a dish or two “spicy“ but be prepared they aren’t fooling around.
Our service was so and inattentive. The food was very disappointing. The salads were bland and not well prepared or tasteful. My lamb was tough and hardly chewable. Very disappointing on all levels. We also had chicken tikka masala which was ok but nothing special or satisfying. Much work to be done in the kitchen.
