Mountain Home Inn - Mill Valley

This place is amazing... Yes, it needs repairs and cleaning, but it's not that bad. We traveled over 1000 miles and stayed at numerous places like Yosemite and this place had most privacy and the FOOD was the best we ever had all our time through the Sierras and North Coast of California. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The complementary breakfast was excellent. Private balcony... Fireplace in any room.. Large bathtubs.... Do not miss this hidden gem when you visit San Francisco. We will definitely come back. Thanks to Mountain Home Inn for our honeymoon extra special.

Great place to stay and eat. We were in the Redwood Room and were very happy. Bed and pillow. Loved the fireplace and the bathtub. It is an older facility and needs some updates, but is still charming and warm. The staff is amazing and friendly. Breakfast was great and fresh. If you eat dinner there, try the wild mushroom ravioli... Hands down the best pasta dish I ever had. It is great that it is so close to the beautiful Muir Woods and Stinson beach. Can't wait to go back!

Very special place!!! All about, the view, the food, the service and some of the most wonderful staff who love what they do and wanted to make sure we were happy!! Very recommended!!

The cod sandwich was amazing. All five of my family members loved their food. Amazing views!
