Buckeye Roadhouse - Mill Valley

GREAT atmosphere. Solid dining experience. Fun to eat at the bar as a couple. Oysters Bingo a huge hit.

I'm originally from Mill Valley. I have always loved this restaurant throughout the many changes in ownership. The now Buckeye Road House is superb. Always. Fabulous service and absolutely creative and interestly delicious selections. The only downside was a very stiff, snippy English bartender....so arragant, has no idea what good customer service is. I ordered a Ramos Fizz because this part of Marin is known for them. The bartender fussed that he didn't think he had the ingredients, then pulled out a tupperware concoction from his refrigerator, gave it a few shakes, poured it into a glass, threw an orange slice in it and pushed it to me with distain. And it was disgusting. I took 2 sips and that was it. I will go back to the Road House because the food and restaurant wait service is excellent, but won't step into the bar again if that pompous bartender is anywhere in sight.

Classic setting, very good all around food and service.

As always excellent food and service. My daughter's favorite restaurant especially the smores pie for dessert
