UPDATE: Today, a new sign says AM service is closed! No more pastries or breakfast sandwiches ... Sadly, they decided to go back to PM pizza only after a temporary closure to readjust. I told someone in line at the new Le Marais, and the whole patio got upset. Everyone agreed that Bootjack pasties are much better. Question: Could they possibly do AM pastries and PM pizza someday? If not, where did their bread and pastry bakers go? We will follow them! Great baked goods. I thought another reviewer was exaggerating that some of them are better than most in France, but it's true. The tall woman who's there some weekends is the nicest. She and the guys who bring out food and drinks are great.

The pastries are amazing! I’ve only been here for coffee in the morning and have enjoyed everything I’ve tried so far. There’s usually a line then so be warned if you’re planning to grab a coffee and run! I would come here more often if they had some way of allowing customers who are only getting a coffee or just know what they want to get through the line faster. I applaud the staff members who patiently wait while somebody takes a full twelve minutes to order two drinks and two pastries, but it’s a collective waste of time when there’s a line building up outside the door. I wish I could give Bootjack 5 stars since they can’t really choose their clientele, but I’ve left the line twice thinking this is might be an efficiency problem.
