Toshi's Teriyaki Grill - Mill Creek

I am a very picky eater, and am very confident in saying that Toshi's Teriyaki Grill is the best Teriyaki Chicken restaurant in TOWN! Since this is the best Teriyaki Restaurant in town, I highly recommend calling ahead of time to place your order. During peak business hours, orders can get backlogged and can take anywhere from 30-45 minutes. On some of their busiest days, they even run out of food, so make sure to call ahead! What separates Toshi's from their competition, is that they grill their meat fresh! Other competing teriyaki restaurants pre-grill their meat, and then do a flash-grill to save cooking time. There are no short-cuts taken at Toshis! If you want extra juicy, char-grilled, and tender teriyaki chicken, Toshi's is the place to be! Also, I highly recommend the beef STEAK teriyaki. Most other teriyaki restaurants offer a thinly sliced and tough texture beef meat, but Toshi's tenderizes and freshly grills their TENDER BEEF STEAK CHUNKS! Although I am very upset when I'm unable to order Toshi's when they run out of food, I am very thankful and blessed to experience such amazing food when I am granted the opportunity to! I will continue to support this business and recommend Toshi's in Mill Creek to all my fellow Teriyaki Enthusiasts! This is a Philchelin star restaurant! I just realized that I didn't include a photo. LOL. I couldn't wait, and already ate the meal. IT IS THAT GOOD!! I'lll post a photo after my next visit!

The best teriyaki I've had in recent memory to be expected of the main Toshi's location! Wonderfully moist and tasty chicken teriyaki with just a little bit of searing that adds an additional crisp and smokey flavor. The restaurant itself is certainly no frills, but I find that charming and authentic in teriyaki joints!

This place sparks my love for teriyaki… after a whole life hating on it. So there you go. Best teriyaki in my entire life. Wow, just wow.

Absolutely outstanding food! We stopped in and tried the chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu. Both were amazing! Customer service was great too! We will definitely be back! We immediately noticed the umami in the well prepared food. The notes of garlic, the Japanese style teriyaki sauce (soy/saltier rather than sweet , the panko crust and sweet/savory sauce on the katsu, the use of dark meat for richness, the well constructed sticky rice, and turning a shogun salad into a slaw for to go orders(brilliant! . Toshi's dishes are truly culinary works of art.

Congratulations- you have arrived. You have found who started it all. If you have ever had Teriyaki, Toshis is quite literally responsible for every single spin off out there. Forget all the over sauced, over cooked, cheap ingredients, packed menus haunting so many Teriyaki shops. Come experience how it started, how it is meant to be and how its still being perfected. Get in your car and drive to Mill Creek- you won’t regret it.
