Frankies Diner - Milford

Because of the storm, the restaurant was quiet for a Sunday morning. The prices were reasonable compared to other local diners, especially given the generous portion sizes. I ordered the country breakfast, while my wife had the cheesesteak omelet.

To top it off, my waitress hardly checked on us, and by the time she did, we had already stacked our dirty dishes and were getting ready to leave. If I hadn’t been starving and with my 10-year-old, who was also extremely hungry, I wouldn’t have stayed and spent my money here. They had more staff bustling around upstairs at the bar than in the actual restaurant, which was pretty pathetic. Overall, this place isn’t worth anyone’s time or money!

I visited this restaurant tonight with my child, and while our waitress was fantastic, the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the steak tips, which were supposed to come with a potato side and a vegetable side. Since I can't have potatoes, I requested a side salad instead, hoping to still receive a cooked vegetable. However, I was only given a SMALL salad and five small steak tips. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare, but it came out well done. The waitress quickly took them back to the kitchen to get them remade, but in the second batch, only one tip was cooked correctly. At that point, I didn't want to try again, so I asked for the bill. The manager offered a 20% discount, which sounded good in theory, but it meant I ended up paying $12 for maybe a cup and a half of salad and just one steak tip. I have no complaints about our wonderful waitress, but I feel let down by the owner/manager. It will take a lot of convincing for me to consider dining here again.

Came in for breakfast. My wife, and I ordered and waited an hour for our food. Adked about our food. Was told that they had a bar downstairs and that gets priority on food. We asked when will our breakfast come and she said she has no idea. The server was a lovely person and highly frustrated with good reason. Will never go there again. After we left we walked down the street to the Riverhouse Cafe. Greeted us and were fed within 15 mins. Riverhouse yeah. Frankie's not yeah.

This place is terrible.. cobwebs all over the place. dust and dirt I don't know how the health board has been dropping the ball so bad but they need to go in there and check this place out! and the language yelled from the kitchen...?? I would NEVER bring children there
