Little Malaysia - Mildura

I have been to the Little Malaysia Restaurant before for dinner and really enjoyed the experience, but not this time. My partner and I happened to be in Mildura and decided to revisit the restaurant for lunch. The menus on the tables looked great until you opened them - they are falling apart. We both ordered the same meal but he got his and I didn't so that had to be fixed. The prawns for both our dishes were chewy and what is it with these chefs that put prawns in a dish with the end of the tail still on. I can understand if it is finger food but not into a plate a food. It is one of my pet hates. After lunch we needed to use the toilets. The passage way walls to the toilets had black dirty marks all over the walls. The hand wash in the ladies toilets was so watered down as to be useless and the men didn't have any hand wash liquid at all. Not hygienic. Makes you wonder about the condition of the kitchen and their hygiene there. Not going back

Food great although could have been hotter (temperature). Frequented by local Asians and run by Asians.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food is Malaysian and Thai. We had chicken satay, a pork mince roll in bean curd sheet and beef rendang. All very delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive, would definitely return.

This was without a doubt the worst Malaysian - Thai food we have ever had. I sent mine back and received an apology for what was supposed to be Singapore noodles....glug. The San choy bow, lettuce was under the mince hidden in a soup bowl, soggy, half cooked, warm. Just awful. Asked for and received a fresh lettuce leaf and managed to scoop it into that and eat it. Very messy and not nice anyway. Apparently they had three complaints tonight. I would certainly never recommend this restaurant,

Kathy is the most amazing waitress who took our complete order(6 people) without writing it down & got it right. The food was of high standard and value for money.
