Jackies Corner Chinese Take-Aways

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal we got from Jackies last night. Very tasty indeed! The venue is ordinary as a previous reviewer commented, but remember this venue IS called Jackies Takeaway! We went to go to a Thai restaurant but it was closed on a Sunday night! The best Chinese we've had in a long time, so a win win for us!

The owner (guy) was rude as hell and it was my first time being at that takeaway store. I have been up and down from Melbourne on business trips. Surprisingly, I came across a restaurant with such poor customer service.I was only asking his wife (I think is his wife) a few questions, since they didn't have any roast duck remaining ..... What he says to me was "That's all we have, if you don't like it, don't come here, go else where."1 star was a MINIMUM, otherwise, it'll be 0 STAR.Will never return there.Regards,Mike T

Never expected to find such an authentic Cantonese Roast Duck in a little corner of VIC/NSW. For the price, it worth a try, just remember, if possible to bring your own rice along.

We ate in and looking around the room we noticed that the room is in desperate need of a good clean and paint job.

I ordered Lemon Chicken and Special Fried Rice. The total was $26.00. I've had better food, but the meal was still fine. The rice was one of the better Special Fried Rice dishes that I have.Service was friendly and the takeaway is in Central Mildura. Although it is a takeaway setup, there are some seats that you can sit at to eat your meal if you wish, but it does not provide restaurant service.
