Xiongdi Di Hu Baisheng - Milano

Had all you can eat. Big menu card with a lot of other things than traditional sushi. Tried spring rolls, dumplings and various uromakis. The food tasted great and we got a lemoncello on the house at the end.

Absolutely fabulous place with spectacular food, service, and atmosphere. There’s particular a selection of Sushi that is extraordinary delicious because it combines the classic Japanese sushi tradition with the best of the South Italian (Pugliese) tastes. The formula all-you-can-eat is perhaps the best value/price in Milan. I will definitely return and if you haven’t been already there, it’s a must!

We visited Xiongdi Milano during our vacation in Milano with great expectations because we love sushi. The waiter Ali welcomed us with courtesy. The plate did not taste good. I didn’t like the vitello and left it, the owner got really upset and said that I was required to pay for it even that I didn’t like it, rather than asking way and how it could be better. Prior to ordering we asked Alí about that and he stated than it was for children ordering more than they can eat, that we were ok, to our surprise. Then, that we can only order 2 of each and I had ordered 3 of the Salmon only and I said, well if there are 2 of us that make 4 servings bring me 1 more. I also told her that I told Alí it didn’t test right and asked her if she had tested? She said no, and I told her to talk to me after she does, and that I was not going to pay for anything I didn’t like. At the end they brought us Limoncello and went about our day. 23 euro/per plus 2 to sit down is not anything to cry about. I work for reviews myself and hate anything less than 5, this is the 1st 1 Star ever and I’ve given around 15 reviews all 5 stars because I rather not give it unless it’s 5.
