San Mauri - Milano

Wonderful food matched by friendly and efficient service. It was so good we went back a second time for dinner. The beef, lamb, octopus and sea bass were excellent, and so was the risotto and ravioli. Beautiful presentation too. Good selection of wines by the glass. Prices are reasonable and the quality of food and wines is very high. Central location on a quiet side street near the Duomo area.

Spent 5 weeks in Milan this ricotta cheese and spinach ravioli with shrimp was the best pasta I ate. I know I will be dreaming about this for years to come. The house Chianti was incredible too! There is no wait, no crowd, just a simple restaurant with friendly staff and great food. Come here for an exceptional lunch or dinner away from the crowds of tourists.
