Pogue Mahone's - Milano

The most un Irish Irish bar I’ve ever visited . Girl behind the bar scolded me because I complimented a pic of Thin Lizzy on the wall trying to tell me it was Led Zeppelin . I’m from Limerick and I’m 59 , I know what TL look like . Beer average , staff not the friendliest , music **** . Somebody should tell them sticking up a few Irish pics doesn’t make it an Irish bar. Plenty of other good bars in Milan , give this one a miss .

This place is unreal. Never been so well looked after and insulted by the funny staff! Best Guinness in Italy and Ben is an artist who will adorn your pint with creamy masterpieces if you deserve it. Great to watch sport, make friends, learn the language and find a desperate girl or boy with no self respect to spend the rest of your new life Italy with. In the summer expect to see Meadhbh dancing on the bar, Gianluca running the show and chatting to his mates outside, Ben splashing about in the paddling pool fully clothed or singing the frozen theme tune or “torn” by Australia’s fittest tiny actress, Alice confusing everyone with her full on boggers Irish accent, switching to impatient perfect Italian and ceci keeping the place running with her quiet, caring resolve! I love the place.

Tipik İrlanda bar ortamını sevenler için Milano’da uygun bir mekan. Very nice Irish pub in Milano, worth visiting. Prices are reasonable. Service personnel is nice. Selection of beers is quite good.
