Contribuiți la feedbackWe travelled Switzerland and Italy for two weeks (not our first time). We ate at multiple Michelin starred restaurants, upscale hotel restaurants, street stands, etc. For me, this was the best meal of the trip. Easily. The food was all well prepared and the ingredients were my “greatest hits” sea urchin, foie gras, sweetbreads, langoustine and so much more. But, there were also many choices on the menu more familiar to many. I thought dishes were well conceived and the menu was playful. The chef clearly loves food and puts a lot of thought into it. There are more adventurous offerings and things a little more familiar to most. We shared 6 or 7 different dishes to we could try a good variety. So many highlights, but the octopus starter with a cucumber salad was insanely good. The risotto with mussels (both cooked and raw) and sweetbreads was over the top! Amazing. I thought the parsley that had was something else. Combined with the Parmesan, it was sooo smooth and almost sweet. I’ve never had a dish with parsley in it that tasted like this. Oh, the roasted leeks with goat cheese “fondue” and hazelnuts. Wow! I could go on and on. Don’t get too caught up in what we had, though. I get the feeling the menu changes a lot. I’ve eaten a lot in many countries. This place was special! The servers were all nice, ready to accommodate. The space was comfortable, too. If you want some more modern and creative Italian food in Milan, I can’t recommend it more highly. For what we got, it was incredibly reasonable (in my opinion). I left thinking I’d come back to Milan with a food loving friend, just to eat here again.
I recently dined at this restaurant for the second time. The first time, I was impressed with the food but found the staff to be unpleasant. One waitress in particular kept sarcastically referring to one of my friends as madame, which was off-putting. Due to this experience, I didn 't go back for a while, but I decided to give it another chance last week. Unfortunately, while the staff has changed, they are still not particularly friendly. Additionally, the food wasn 't great this time around. The starter with ombrina was tasteless, and the risotto with peanuts was so spicy that I couldn 't taste the raw fish on top of it. On the plus side, the wine was good. However, given the high prices and overall unsatisfactory experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
I met Manna 10 years ago. And I wanted to eat there again after damned lockdown. Chef Fronduti confirms a good and and experience: we did eat two courses, and as he promised in only 20 minutes as we have to return to work. He proposed a fish HA PERSO : Battuta di nasello, rafano verde, basilico e yuzu) as first, and a pasta as second BANALISSIMO : Paccheri, pomodoro affumicato leggermente piccante e limone), plus a welcome entree. we ate well, with good services and care.
