It was on the last full day of our stay in Milan that we ate out at this restaurant. My fiancée had spotted it days before and suggested that we should check it out for our farewell dinner, which we did. Il Piccolo Padre did not disappoint. I had the penne of the house for first and a pizza for second, my fiancée ate two pizzas. Every dish was fabulous tasty, balanced, decent serving size. The pizza dough was as good as we have ever tasted, thin and tasty. The pasta was al dente, with an ingenious mixture of toppings worthy of Il Piccolo Padre . The only thing that was a bit off was the house wine the grappa, on the other hand, was great. Service was excellent; we were offered two tiny glasses of grappa at the end of the dinner, free of charge, where tiny meant ~1 dl...
Glad this place was open on Easter Monday evening! They brought over English menus without us asking which made us feel very welcome! We had Tuscany pizza and tagliatelle with venison ragu. Both dishes were very tasty. The tirasmu was excellent. Very reasonably priced.
Excellent food, low prices, efficient staff
A simple restaurant without too many pretensions, where you eat well and satiated spending the right (on average about 20-30 € per person) pizza, served well cooked, is good and abundant. friendly and fast service.
