It felt a bit like we had broken a party. there were many groups and everyone seemed to know each other. the staff was great, helpful, friendly and while it was quite loud, we enjoyed an excellent meal. the salumi, the insalate and the guanciale di manzo were incredible. really glad we stopped here - good food can be hard to find in this area! would reserve next time in any case.
I just had the very best foie Gras that I have ever eaten! It puts the Paris version to shame that I had 2 years ago. The duck was just spectacular as well. Don't forget to try their beautiful homemade desserts! I highly recommend a...visit to this wonderful little family restaurant...check out their lovely patio garden in the back...just so charming!
Looking at the other reviews here it is really overrated but that said, it is not bad at all. A rather simple setting, very nice staff and the food is good nothing to write home about but good. The artwork on the walls are...different and the music they selected to play in the background was even more different did not calm me down or set me up for a slow nice Italian dinner. But an overall very good experience
The ambiance, service, food and wine were all outstanding at Cervin. This is a family owned and operated restaurant close to the city center, yet just far enough off the busy streets to not be overly crowded and touristy. Lorenzo and his sister Beatrice speak...very good English and their appetizer, wine and entree recommendations were excellent. We dined in the outdoor courtyard and enjoyed some traditional Italian dishes expertly prepared by Lorenzo's mother. We enjoyed dinner so much we returned the following evening (we were in Milan only two days). With extremely friendly service and reasonable prices, I recommend this restaurant unconditionally.
