Cafe Madeira Milano

The service was terrible. I sat at a table for 15 minutes. No-one came to my table. Thee was NO service. Later, when I had a table with my friend, the waitresses were young, impatient and unfriendly. The food with the aperitivi was mediocre. The drinks were satisfactory.

This small cafe on Est Monumental between the Hole in One pub and the Girassol hotel is exceptional in customer care and price. The two shop assistants speak very good English and have a joke with their customers. Coffee and a Pastel de Nata (Portugese custard tart) is a seventh of the price at The Ritz in Funchal. Attached behind the cafe is a very reasonably priced supermarket.

Great time spent here with a friend, got a great negroni sbagliato with food. Cosy ambient and polite service. It’s worth to come back here again.

Place in strategically served area, aperitif ok, young and adventurous staff, open until late even in days when there is no movement. a certainty to ocire in the evening, although it is not the most characteristic place of milan.

Excellent aperitif served at the table. really honest prices and family environment. a stone's throw from the Roman gate.
