A tasting of 5 and say 5 tigelle comes exactly 9 euros. Then the quartino of lambrusco 3.50 euros. Tigelle one better than the other. Lovely Lambrusco. The modes are the usual expo: go to the crate.. Orders. You pay. and go to the table with your pager. But here doesn't sound like the device when it's ready.. here they identify your table based on where you supported the pager and bring you all! TOP! Tigelle both sweet and salty.. a marvel to eat hot and beautiful cheese. A basket with 5 bags! It seems impossible but also at Expo you can make a quiet meal without queues and without haste and almost in silence.
In a boulevard behind the Korean pavilion, there is this kiosk that sells, mainly, tigelle. It's a Emilian specialty and they're stuffed pears. There are different types of tigelles. The classics, made with meats, and then mortadella, raw ham, bacon, lard and salami or vegetarian or delicious ones. The vegetarian tigelles are made in five ways as well as the other types and are: Genovese (pesto and tomato) Campagnola (pomodoro, rucola and stracchino) Balsamica ( balsamic vinegar, rocket and stracchino) Zola (gorgonzola and walnuts) and Trevigiana (grana radicchio and ricotta). The five delicious tigelles are, on the other hand, Carciofina (carciofi, cooked ham and stracchino) Parmense (pomodoro prosciutto crudo rucola) Modenese ( balsamic vinegar, grana and bacon) Reggiana (grain bacon and radicchio) and Tartufina (talled ham raw and rocket). There is the option 5 tigelle of choice at 9 Euro and is the one that goes most. We too (my brother and I) took this, which is called tasting, splitting half my five vegetarians and its five delicious courses each on a bag inside a basket. There are also first dishes such as ragù noodles or pesto with tomatoes. He queues at the box. The cashier asks if we wanted to eat in a table. The affirmative response releases an object, which is called Find Me, to leave in a precise place of the table containing a number. There's a girl at the reception who runs the queue for the tables. Through this number the girl manages to find the table bringing orders. The rooms, all outdoors, are two and are located on the sides of the counter and the chest. On request they bring a tigella to make shoes with the sauce of tagliatelle.
13 October noon Not finding a free foreign restaurant I had lunch in Dispensa Emilia. I took 4 tigelles, ham, artichokes and ham, gorgonzola with walnuts and sweet with honey and nuts. I liked those bases, ham and gorgonzola, while I didn't appreciate the recipe of the tigella to the artichokes, and the sweet one I found it very strange also because the only sweet thing was honey and it fits badly with the other savory flavors, both the filling and the tigella itself.
Dispense Emilia was our salvation anchor Saturday at 'Expo. We had eaten a small (very small sandwich at a Dutch stand, so the stomach rubbed a lot around 15.30. Luckily a friend, who had already been to Expo, had the idea of the day: _ It is true, the tigelles are not very great but they are so good and the price is so content that you can eat it quietly 6-7. There are the classic tigelles (1€ , those a little more special (2€ , type bacon, balsamic vinegar and grain , vegetarians (always 2€ and those sweet (nutella and mascarpone, happiness! . Also you can make a tasting menu: 5 tigelle at 9 €. There was also pasta but I had no way to taste it. Another point in favor of Dispensa Emilia is the speed of the staff - although there is a row you never wait too much - and kindness (I don't think it's easy to work in that casino that is Expo, at those rhythms by far. I will always remember Dispensa Emilia as my corner of happiness at Expo 2015
Turning to the 'Expo.. back to the pavilion of Korea..c' is this place..l' we found in the afternoon and at the dinner time we walked more than half an hour to return! Fatigue repaid! It is a small outdoor restaurant, there are no indoors, but there are tables and chairs under a pergola right next to a pond. .defiled position compared to Decumano, so no noise and so much tranquility! The ordering system is what they have adopted really many inside Expo: you go directly to the case, you choose what you want, you pay, and they give you a mysterious object! ..do this you choose the table and you sit down.. you must immediately rest the object you have given to the case on a table..in this way they in the kitchen have your order and know what table to bring you everything! Genius! Dispensa Emilia mainly makes the tigelle: small sandwiches filled typical Emilian! We took the tasting offer: 5 tigelle at 9 euro and a glass of wine at 3.50.. I have to say that 5 tigelles are perfect for a plentiful dinner. Then there is really the embarrassment of choice..I tasted both those with meats and vegetarian ones to finish then with a sweet tigella, ricotta honey and nuts..I liked all!! Serve inside a basket and each one with its bag... For those inside Expo want to eat something good, healthy, tasty, Italian, without spending much, I recommend it!
