Babila Hostel Bistrot. - Milan

The worst hostel ever! As wished by the hostel staff, we have cancelled our reservation from booking.com and book a room directly on their web page. We received a confirmation of the booking and an email that everything is fine 2 days before our arrival. While entering the hostel, the receptionist was very impolite and she didn't take any responsibility for a fact that they don't have a room for us. She was pretending that she can't find any emails from us (which we proved that was a lie) and she was so disrespectful. Mistakes are happening but the reaction of the receptionist was outrageous. Instead of apologize and help with searching new place she was trying to convince us that this is not a hostel fault. I do not recommend this place to anyone! EDIT: this is edit regarding the comment from a host that this situation did not happened we have booked room for 8 people on 15 17.10. We have all proofes in emails so don't lie.

Despite being a decent hostel, I had one really bad experience with the receptionist. After having asked to extend my stay for another night, the next time I was asked to leave because they had overbooked their hostel. Despite having been promised one more night, I was kicked out which I have never experienced. Make sure to extend your stay on an online platform or ask for proof as they seem to be unreliable when confirming extentions verbally.

My friends and I booked a hotel from October 15 to 17 this year. Upon arrival it turned out that our reservation was cancelled despite the fact that we booked through the official website of the hotel and there is no room for us. The day before we even got a confirmation text message that we can come earlier and leave our luggage. Reaction of receptionist was beneath contempt, she told us that it 's not their fault and laughed in our faces, did not help to find a new place to sleep and said that we should leave the hostel because she has other customers... We were left in a foreign country, foreign city without a place to sleep. I really don’t recommend this hotel! You spoiled our holiday! And please don’t comment that this situation never happened. You know very well that this situation happened and that it 's true. EDIT: You can 't find me by my name because I was one of 8 people who were harmed. The name of the person who booked the hotel starts with the letter P. Don 't lie to me or I will report you additionally to booking.com as dishonest.

Best hostel in milano! nice received by the staff, we were 2 nights in an 8 bed dormitories, everything was nice! they give towels, the showers and toilets are clean! the perfect backpacker hostel, we pay ~24€ for the night per person. they have free breakfast, there is a terrace and a cool room! we were two French on a road trip, in less than 20 minutes we met other people in the kitchen of the hostel and then we went party in the city. if you want to travel alone or with a group and meet others, they will meet 100% some people in this hostel. If I come back, I'd come back 100%.

The location is perfect, 17 minutes walk to the dom and the tube is around the corner. the staff is courteous and friendly, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and size of the rooms. they would definitely recommend:
