Tamisa - Mijas

Tamisa closed last week. A pity but the owner got sick and they had to close. Let us hope that someone else picks up this restaurant which has been an important part of Mijas since 1994.

Celebrated a friends birthday party there and what a super night. Great food and wine and reasonably priced. Service was impeccable, we were really looked after. Very nice venue. Will go back.

To be honest this wasn't our 1st choice to eat on that evening, but as we'd walked quite enough, we decided to give it a go. glad we did! We sat outside where the other customers seemed to be expats, so they must know a thing or 2. We all had garlic bread to share. Bottle of cava 12e. My wife a superb fish kebab my mum I both had prawn curry. Although the prawn curry could have been a bigger portion, it was the best I've ever had. Fruity, light creamy. 9e. If we are to ever return on future hols, I'd order a more substantial starter to go with my curry.

It's one of the best Chinese restaurants I know. dishes are exquisite and the owners are charming. prices are very good, what else can you ask?
