India Town - Miguel Hidalgo

The restaurant is nicely decorated. The staff was polite. I wished they had come by a little more often, but they allowed me to dine in please and enjoy the sights/sounds. The food was mildy flavored from a spice perspective. The gulab jamun dessert was nice but made differently from traditional Indian cooking. My biggest complaint would be the masala chai. Definitely will not be ordering that again.

Food itself was good, although the portions were really small, like nowhere else in Indian food restaurants. We were waiting more than an hour, even if there was only 6 guests except us. We were asking few times what's going on , and being ensured that's it's just coming, but wasn't true. Not good communication and waiters are not English speaking. It's also a huge room, pretty nice design if you like Indian style), but not giving you a feeling of intimacy.

3 star to encourage vegitarian food. overall food is average. Service is delayed and need more waiters . You can have real Indian food in India only. Nevertheless good attempt.please hire more waiters, current two waiters are over burden please . For billing it took 30 min waiting
