Scarlet D - Mifflinburg

Stopped in simply because it's been years since I was there. Caught the brunch menu served from noon til five. Mostly egg dishes on the menu but they did have a chicken and waffles meal. Homemade waffle with a sweet and spicy sauce over it and the chicken. It was delicious! The alcohol was reasonably priced. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there was no real lunch menu. But I wouldn't hesitate to go back! Friendly staff too!

This place was different. I tried some of their food and it was ok. I heard they have good wings and I will post likely try other food from here. The inside has a peculiar smell to it. You are able to sit outside but those tables fill up pretty fast and it's right next to the main road through town. I will update this review as I try other food from here.

The “well done” burger was burnt, the big letter D on the bun made for a very unpleasant burnt bread taste. For it being burger night I’m seriously disappointed in the meal.

I have food allergies but many are to preservatives... which means boxed, processed, some canned foods, packaged gravies or spices... I showed them my list of allergies and had amazing fresh food cooked. Mac n cheese was amazing and I could have the Guinness breaded fish. ???? It’s hard to find places to eat for me so this was a pleasant find!!! Thank you and kuddos for cooking some homemade things!!!
