Gambrinus - Miercurea Ciuc

Well, if you want really Szekely food which you would as you are in the region, then you 'll be disappointed. The food is average, the goulash was let 's say not what I was used to from Hungary or even from my own childhood memories in Transylvania. And the palinka? Pffff... I couldn 't drink it. Ordered instead some wine very good, as we ordered bottled and we 'll chilled. Almost forgot the lovely găluște cu prune no way. The stones were in the plums and I just left it on the table. So... not bad for gullible tourists, but if you know what to expect, then go elsewhere. The service was good and the staff friendly.

At first it was not clear for me that the fish is per hundred grams so I ended up paying almost 100 lei for a trout which was not only expensive but also dry. The potatoes were very salty and we waited a long time to receive the food even though at a certain point there were only 2 tables.

Cozy, traditional, clean and nice place in Miercurea Ciuc. Tasty food, big portions, I 'd recommend Gulas Unguresc . Very quick service and polite friendly staff. Easy to park your car safely. Highly recommended

Service was nice and fast. Food was good (goulash soup and potato soup) but the kids menu was nothing to write home about. A tasteless soup, frozen fries and frozen chicken and a bland pancake. Place looks nice but a little too traditional.
