I was blown away by that pizza with mushrooms on it. Their vegan plate didn't come out like the description but they fixed it for us and I was so glad the option was there so I could bring my family! I would go back again Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The restaurant has a nice aesthetic. The food once it was served was good. The Roasted Turkey Sandwich was flavorful and a good sized portion. My friend ordered the burger which was also a good potion and she enjoyed it. The fried were great. A cross between a French fry and a chip. The service was just adequate. The hostess brought us our water which was great. After the waitress took our order, we saw her once again until the bill was brought. We had to ask another server for water refills. I travel all over and one of my favorite places to eat is Midway Mercantile. I would give it five stars if I could, but understand that rating is reserved on this site for restaurants that are fully veg. They have a separate vegan menu that you need to ask for. The vegan curry is my favorite. You can ask to add tofu. The tofu is prepared with a perfect crisp on the outside. The curry sauce is light and so flavorful. I've noticed the veggies change a bit depending on what is fresh and available. The last couple of times, the dish had AMAZING Brussel sprouts in it. I have gotten the grains and greens salad a few times and it is always delicious. The ambiance is lovely and the service is great.
