A fantastic restaurant and hotel. Wife and I came here by chance and found a newly renovated hotel run by charming new owners who live locally. They use local produce in the kitchen, fish, shellfish, game, local beers. You sit in the new dining area overlooking Midsund harbour. The bedrooms are totally up to date, clean and cosy. The owners are really helpful with information about local attractions...like the stone stairs up the mountain and beautiful beaches. Loved it!

It has become a nice place!!! Safety: Easy to get out in a hurry, if something happens! Food drinks: We were served good old-fashioned meat soup, coffee and cakes. And the premises had been nicely refurbished. Service: 5 Location: 5

Good alternative for accommodation in Midsund. Definitely recommended. We stayed two nights in a newly renovated room clean and nice. The room is relatively small, but we came here to experience nature and not least the Midsund steps. Good food in the restaurant and Thursday is baill day ! Pleasant hospitality hostess Ann is a good ambassador for Midsund willingly informs about what the island has to offer. Don 't forget the Midsund Stairs with fantastic views and the outdoor area at Strandane, with sunset weather permitting.
