Lighthouse Coffee - Midlothian

I really love Lighthouse Coffee. The service is consistently quick and friendly. They are truly committed to crafting excellent coffee and blended drinks, and I always look forward to exploring new options on their thoughtfully curated menu. Midlothian needs more places like Lighthouse! Price per person: $1–10.

Every time I’ve tried to reach a manager over the phone, I’ve been unsuccessful. I’ve been advised to call ahead or place my order online, but there’s still a long wait — so what’s the point? In the mornings, I typically wait less when the blonde girl with curly hair is working since my drinks are prepared to my preferred taste and consistently good. However, tonight's experience was frustrating. I waited about 30 minutes, and when I asked one of the staff members about my drinks, who had only handed me one, she took another 10 minutes to give me the second one. When I inquired about the remaining drinks since one was starting to melt, I heard the blender running multiple times. She mentioned that it was a “gamble” regarding the measurements, which is why it took longer. As a former Starbucks manager, I can tell you that it shouldn't be a gamble. Everything should have a set measurement, and staff members should be trained to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a friendly attitude towards customers. I rarely complain, but I’m really tired of this happening. Service: Takeout Price per person: $20–30

The atmosphere is very cozy, great for reading or chatting. Sofa beds, small tables, outdoor tables, nooks, and paintings. I went to get coffee and read. I can't rate the food as I didn't get any, but the dishes that did come by looked good. They would also bring your food/drinks to where you were sitting at rather than having to go upto the counter to pick it up. Will definitely come back to read some more and get coffee here. They have a assortment of signature lattes as well. I wish they had some variety on the teas. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
